I’ve started writing for The Wall Street Journal. Today I have a column on this weekend in sports, including the Masters, the Frozen Four, and the Rome derby….
“This weekend’s Masters proved once again that in the face of unforeseen calamities, from earthquakes to market meltdowns, Augusta National remains astonishingly aloof. Viewers could retreat into its cocoon of soft music and impeccable landscapes, nod off for a while, and return again to Jim Nantz and his merry band of quiet men. The worst that could happen: a double-bogey.”
