Mourinho Abdicates Special Title

ose Mourinho, the Portuguese coach who wears his designer suits with the same panache that he wears his oversized ego, made huge news the other day. It wasn’t that he had signed on to coach Inter—everyone knew that was going to happen. The big revelation: Mourinho was renouncing his nickname. He was no longer “the special one.”
“I am Mourinho,” he said, “That’s all.”
